Be A Participating Therapist

The Ray of Light Fund maintains a roster of licensed psychotherapists, psychiatrists and credentialed counselors that have been approved by the Ray of Light Clinical Committee, comprised of mental health professionals.

The Ray of Light Fund welcomes applications.

The Clinical Committee is responsible for vetting new mental health professionals and approving them to be participating Ray of Light Fund providers.  The Clinical Committee will meet monthly to review and approve applications and submit to the Ray of Light Fund Advisory Committee for final inclusion on the official Participating Roster. In addition, a member of the Clinical Committee, once the mental health professional has been approved, will to conduct a brief Ray of Light Fund practices orientation.

Approved mental health professionals will be responsible for determining and submitting suitable candidates from their patient caseload to the Ray of Light Fund Advisory Committee in order to approve funding.  The Ray of Light Fund Advisory Committee will approve a financial supplement of $100 per individual session and/or $50 per group session, at a maximum of six (6) month allotments, although short-term therapeutic interventions are suitable as well. At the end of the six (6) months a new application for continued supplemental financing must be filled out and submitted to the Ray of Light Fund Advisory Committee for review and approval.

Participating mental health professionals must submit a monthly invoice to the Ray of Light Fund/Liberty Hill for therapeutic services rendered to eligible clients approved by the Ray of Light Fund Advisory Committee. Please return completed invoice to info@rayoflightfund.org.
